PRP Joint Injections
PRP stands for Platelet Rich Plasma. Platelet-rich plasma is a blood product that is developed using the patient’s own cells. Blood is drawn from the patient and then put through a process designed to concentrate the number of platelets the finished product contains. It also contains growth factors that are naturally found in the blood. PRP joint injections provide additional platelets and growth factors to injured joints, hastening the healing process and allowing the body to help regenerate damaged tissues.
PRP injections work by placing additional platelets and growth factors into the injured joint giving it what it needs to begin the healing process. The platelets provide support to the damaged tissues, while the growth factors encourage the production of new cells that will eventually begin to replace the damaged cells within the joint. The use of PRP joint injections helps to reduce inflammation and pain while allowing the tissues to begin to regenerate themselves. The growth factors not only stimulate the production of new cells, they also work to strengthen the existing tissues allowing them to better support the injured area.
PRP joint injections can produce minimal side effects, most of which will begin to disappear within a few hours after the procedure. The most common complaint has to do with pain and inflammation near the injection site. The area may be tender to the touch for a day or two after the procedure. Mild skin discoloration or bruising may also be present for the first few days after the procedure. Because the procedure is minimally invasive, there is always the chance of infection. In some cases, depending on the extent of the damage, the condition of the joint may not improve or show any signs of healing. There is also minimal risk of a blood clot forming near the joint.
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is blood plasma that has been enriched with platelets. PRP is rich in growth factors, so when PRP is applied to the scalp it can contribute to hair growth.
PRP is great for correcting:
- Thinning Hair
- Thinning eyebrows
Platelets for PRP are made from the patient’s own blood. It is similar to a patient donating his or her blood before a surgical procedure. This is what the process entails.
- First, blood is withdrawn from the patient into tubes.
- Next, the blood is placed in a centrifuge and is spun around.
- The centrifuge process concentrates the red and white blood cells and platelets in different levels in the tubes. Blood plasma that is rich in platelets is taken out and is readied for the application process.
After the concentration of the PRP, we may choose to either apply the PRP directly to scalp followed with micro-needling or inject small amounts at multiple locations where the hair is thinning. We may also decide to do both. The PRP then triggers the body’s natural healing instincts.
Research indicates that PRP promotes hair growth by stimulating hair follicle stem cells. The platelet growth factors induce follicle stem cells to shift from a dormant state to an active state, and that starts the process of hair production.
>>OTHER OPTIONS FOR HAIR RESTORATION<<
For better results, our patients have the option to combine PRP with ACell Technology or Adult Adipose (fat) Stem Cells. When PRP is combined with ACell Technology or Adult Adipose Stem Cells patients can achieve better results with as few as 1 treatment per year for women and 1-2 treatments per year for men. Women may respond better than men to PRP Therapy alone for Hair Loss treatment, but our state of the art centrifuge machine has helped to narrow this gap.
Also using Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) has been proven to promote hair growth in males and females but women have responded better.
A high patient satisfaction rate can be achieved when PRP for Hair Loss is used in combination with other modalities or therapies or if done alone, when a state of the art centrifuge machine is used.
PRP for hair restoration is best for patients whose hair is starting to thin.
Patients who have active infection on the scalp, diabetes, and are on blood thinning medications are not good candidates for PRP.

Vampire Breast Lift
The new Vampire Breast Lift, from the creators of the revolutionary Vampire Facelift, uses a non-invasive method to lift and improve breast appearance.
There are women who cannot afford to take time off from work to recuperate from an aggressive surgical procedure like a breast lift. While women may like the size of their breasts, some would like more pronounced cleavage or more volume at the top of their breasts. Dunamis aesthetics offer the Vampire Breast Lift™ to improve the shape of the breasts without invasive surgery.
The aim of the Vampire Breast Lift™ is to do what a well-made bra would do; create some volume, provide lift and cleavage. Good candidates for this procedure are women who are not looking to dramatically change the size of their breasts. Women who are looking to give their breasts a more youthful appearance are ideal candidates for the Vampire Breast Lift™. Like other Vampire Procedures, the Vampire Breast Lift™ result is expected to last for at least about 12-24 months, depending on individual patient.

Much like the Vampire Facelift, the Vampire Breast Lift utilizes platelet rich plasma (PRP) to restore and lift breast tissue.
This plasma is a type of powerful stem cell that is taken from your own blood stream, This plasma contains growth factors on the platelets that when released, the growth factors attract powerful stem cells to rejuvenate the breast tissue. The plasma is taken from your own blood stream, typically blood is extracted from the arm and then refined using a centrifuge.
This PRP is combined with a power regenerative solution and applied to the breast, areola and nipple tissue. This PRP solution regenerates old breast tissue and replaces it with younger, healthier tissue.
The results of Vampire Breast Lift include:
- Shapelier breasts
- Increased sensation in the breasts
The Vampire Breast Lift is a great alternative to traditional breast implants and saline fillers because it is non-invasive. That means the Vampire Breast Lift features:
- No downtime
- No pain
- No scarring
- No loss of sensitivity
VAMPIRE NIPPLE LIFT®
Vampire Nipple Lift® can restore sensitivity to the breast (especially after breast implants, some lose nipple sensitivity), improve nipple inversion, and improve the color of the areola and nipple by increasing vascularization of the tissue (new blood vessel formation) thus appearing more youthful.
